Sun 5th May
10:45 am - 12:45 pm
For our May assembly, Sunday Assembly Bristol are pleased to host local Death Cafe facilitator, Mary Tutaev who will be bringing a taster of the Death Cafe experience to this month’s assembly.
Death Cafe is a movement of regional groups that hold regular sessions where death is discussed with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session. Their purpose is “to increase awareness of the reality of death, so we can enjoy feeling more fully alive“.
We also have our usual selection of songs, readings, trying your best, tea and cake, so come along and join in!
Our aim at all Sunday Assembly events is to be radically inclusive. That means that really anyone is welcome to any Sunday Assembly in the world. We’ll do our best to not make you feel singled out or treated differently, but we are human so are likely to err, so please feel like you can message us and let us know if we did anything wrong. There’s a good chance you may feel challenged (to be a better person hopefully!).
Kids are always welcome at Sunday Assembly events, and events at the Trinity Centre are wheelchair accessible and we try and make events at other sites accessible too.
